The short version: many links on Cartlumen, and in the deal posts we share, are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer may pay us a commission. You pay the same price either way.
Who we are
Cartlumen is a trade name of 1001768665 Ontario Inc., a company based in Ontario, Canada ("Cartlumen", "we", "us"). We find and share electronics deals from retailers in Canada and the United States.
How affiliate links work
When you click an affiliate link, you go to the retailer's website through a tracking link. The tracking link tells the retailer that you came from Cartlumen. If you then make a qualifying purchase, the retailer pays us a commission, usually a small percentage of the sale.
- The price you pay is not increased because you used our link.
- We do not see your payment details, and we are not the seller. Your purchase is between you and the retailer.
- Retailers decide which purchases earn a commission. Returns, cancellations and some product categories usually earn nothing.
Where our links appear
Affiliate links may appear on this website, in our deal posts, in messages and posts we share with our deal community, and in any newsletter or app we offer. Deal posts that contain affiliate links say so, for example: "We may earn a commission from links in this post."
Programs we take part in
We take part in affiliate programs run by retailers and by affiliate networks. These may include Impact, CJ Affiliate, Rakuten Advertising, Awin, FlexOffers, Partnerize, the eBay Partner Network and the Amazon Associates programs in Canada and the United States, among others.
As an Amazon Associate, Cartlumen earns from qualifying purchases.
Cartlumen may be compensated when you click on links and make purchases through the eBay Partner Network.
How we choose deals
We share a deal because we think it is a good price on a product worth buying, not because of the commission. Some retailers pay us and some do not, and we still post deals from retailers that pay nothing. A commission never changes the price, specs or availability we report.
Prices and stock change quickly. Always check the final price, seller, shipping cost and return policy on the retailer's site before you buy.
