How Cartlumen works
From spotting a price drop to the post in your feed.
- 1
We watch prices
We track electronics prices at major retailers and brand stores in Canada and the United States every day: laptops, phones, consoles, PC parts, TVs, audio and more. We also follow retailer flyers, launch-day pricing, seasonal sales and limited-time promotions.

We check every deal
Before we post a deal, we check:
- The real price: how it compares with the product's recent prices and with other major retailers.
- The exact product: model number, storage, colour, generation and region, so a deal on last year's model isn't sold as this year's.
- The seller: whether the item is sold by the retailer itself or by a third-party marketplace seller.
- The fine print: open-box or refurbished condition, purchase limits, shipping costs, membership requirements and return windows.

We share it
Good deals go out on Cartlumen and to our deal community. Each post includes the price, the retailer, any catch we found, and a link to the product.

You buy from the retailer
Cartlumen doesn't sell anything. When you click a deal, you buy directly from the retailer, with its prices, shipping, returns and warranty. Prices change fast, so always check the final price before you pay.
How we make money
Many of our links are affiliate links. When you buy through one, the retailer may pay us a small commission. Your price stays the same. We post deals because they're good, including deals from retailers that pay us nothing. Read our full affiliate disclosure.
